Jesus was a servant
You know that the rulers of this world rule over their peoples, and the people own them. It won't be like that among you. On the contrary, whoever wants to become the greatest among you, he must be your servant, and whoever wants to be the first among you, he must be your slave. He who was sent down as a Man, He did not come to be served, but to serve others and to give His life as a ransom for many (Matthew 20:28). Do you know anyone in the whole world who has all the hallmarks of power, spiritual or physical, and yet he does not use his powers to control others or to be the holder of power in the whole world?
Only Jesus is the possessor of the eternal nature, who, as He said, created all things: “For by Him were all things created that are in heaven and that are on the earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers, all things were created by Him and for Him." He Himself came to teach us humility and teach us to serve one another in a spirit of pure love, free from envy, hatred and pride. He is our exemplary teacher who has presented himself to us as an example of the deepest servant, filled with wonderful qualities that dazzle the heart and mind.
He is the owner of the golden rule, which teaches us to understand the weakness of one’s self in the face of the greatness of the Almighty: “And the greatest of you will be your servant. He who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” If you think you are great in your spiritual depth or great in your personality, train yourself to be a servant to everyone, then you will be raised in front of everyone, and that's the most important thing. He who calls himself a servant must prove it by his daily walk with Christ.
This outstanding personality of Jesus, represents things that baffle the human mind, and in him we find greatness turned into humility, strength turned into weakness, justice turned into mercy, judgment turned into forgiveness of sins, and all these contradictions, God brought them together in one Person Jesus, so that he who goes forward may be a servant to all. His personality dazzles everyone with His magnificent presence and highest virtues and features. Your repentance and faith in the Crucified and Risen Christ will grant you forgiveness of sins and salvation, and will also enable you to live against the tide of a world full of cruelty and darkness, so that you can contemplate the qualities of the Character of Christ and obey Him, transforming yourself to be like Him. Yes, you can be like Him, noble and great, serving people and nations as a Ruler or King, to reign with Him in the world created by Him. “...but let the greatest of you be like the youngest, and let the first be like a servant.” “You have made us kings and priests for our God, and we will reign on earth.”
Jesus tells us: And to the one who overcomes and carries on My work to the end, I will give authority over the nations. He will rule them with a rod of iron and will break them like pottery, just as I received authority from My Father.
To the one who wins and does as I command to the end, I will give power over the pagans, just as I received it from My Father. He will rule over them with a rod of iron and will break them into pieces like pottery vessels.
Will you be such a just and noble ruler and priest like Him? It's your choice.
